During an MSK Footscan assessment, a comprehensive process is followed to ensure a thorough assessment of your foot mechanics and related musculoskeletal concerns. The procedure begins with a detailed discussion of your medical history, including any previous treatments or investigations related to your current issue. This helps identify potential contributing factors to your condition.

Next, a physical examination is conducted to assess tendon strength, joint alignment, range of motion, and leg length. This step is crucial for detecting any abnormalities or imbalances that may be affecting your lower limbs.

Your posture is then evaluated to identify any positional stresses on your body that could be influencing your symptoms. Following this, a gait analysis is performed using advanced 3D Footscan pressure-mapping technology. This allows for precise measurement of load distribution and movement patterns during walking or standing, providing valuable insights that guide diagnosis, targeted treatment, and orthotic prescription.
